How to submit a Digital Millennium Copyright Act takedown notice to PinSaver.

Last updated: January 2026

PinSaver respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Important context

PinSaver does not host, cache or store any Pinterest content on our servers. Our Service is purely a technical relay that fetches publicly accessible media from Pinterest on demand. If you believe your copyrighted material has been infringed, the takedown should generally be directed to Pinterest itself, where the content is actually hosted.

Filing a DMCA notice with us

If you still wish to send PinSaver a notice — for example, to request that we block a specific URL pattern from our downloader — please include the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on Pinterest.
  • Your full name, address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Where to send

Submit your notice via our contact form with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request". We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Counter-notices

If you believe content was blocked in error, you may submit a counter-notice using the same contact form. Include the same details listed above along with a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
